GETTING CRAFTY!

We offer crafting activities for adults, children and their carers.

Craft can alleviate the symptoms of anxiety, depression, loneliness and even dementia, according to research and are a great way to look after your wellbeing. Children love crafts too.

So whether you'd like to lower stress levels, express creativity or simply lift your mood, crafting can be a fun way to strengthen our mental health by promoting positive thoughts and occupying busy hands. 

The best thing about arts and crafts is that you or your children don’t need any special skills to start. We have lots of creative ideas that are fun, inexpensive and could have a positive impact on your wellbeing.

Crafting in harmony with nature

We encourage the use of recycled/repurposed materials relating to the nature around us. This fosters an understanding of how we can help nature and the planet whilst enjoying various crafts. The children have so far enjoyed making bird feeders, bug hotels, hedgehog homes and natural terrariums.

Places are filled quickly so booking is essential.

A small charge of £5 per person is made for Adult sessions to cover materials and venue hire. All our Children’s activities and sessions are free.
