Our Grow With Us Community Garden is a delight for children and young people. A magical place in our part of Ipswich where children can get their hands dirty and learn all about nature and growing.
Children who are involved in planting, tending and harvesting learn about the growth cycle. This encourages them to understand our changing seasons and gives them the feeling of ownership over the crops. They are more likely to try the fruits and vegetables that they have helped grow
Getting crafty!
We encourage the children to join in crafts; using recycled and repurposed items relating to the nature they see around them, fostering an understanding of how they can help nature and the planet whilst enjoying different crafts

The Natural World
Areas specifically designed to attract a wide variety of pollinating insects through the use of wildflowers, watering holes and bug hotels made from repurposed materials. As most insects see in the ultra violet spectrum we use a large number of blue & purple flowers because they stand out most to the insects.
